Penarth ( pen-ARTH, Welsh: [pɛnˈarθ]) is a town and community in the Vale of Glamorgan, Wales, approximately three miles (five kilometres) south of Cardiff city centre on the west shore of the Severn Estuary at the southern end of Cardiff Bay.
