Mukachevo (Ukrainian: Мукачево, IPA: [mʊˈkɑtʃewo] ; Hungarian: Munkács, IPA: [ˈmuŋkaːtʃ]; see name section) is a city in Zakarpattia Oblast, western Ukraine. It is situated in the valley of the Latorica River and serves as the administrative center of Mukachevo Raion.
