Paisley ( PAYZ-lee; Scottish Gaelic: Pàislig [ˈpʰaːʃlɪkʲ]) is a town in Renfrewshire, Scotland. Located north of the Gleniffer Braes and immediately west of Glasgow, it straddles the banks of the White Cart Water, a tributary of the River Clyde.
