Sovata (Romanian pronunciation: [soˈvata]; Hungarian: Szováta; Hungarian pronunciation: [ˈsovaːtɒ]) is a town in Mureș County, Transylvania, Romania. Three villages are administered by the town: Căpeți (Kopac), Ilieși (Illyésmező), and Săcădat (Szakadát).
