Sopot (Polish: [ˈsɔpɔt] ; ; Kashubian: Sopòt is a seaside resort city in the Pomeranian Voivodeship on the southern coast of the Baltic Sea in northern Poland, with a population of around 30,000. It has the status of county – the smallest city in Poland to have that status.
