Doetinchem (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈdutɪŋxəm] ; Low Saxon: Deutekem) is a city and municipality in the east of the Netherlands. It is situated along the Oude IJssel (Old IJssel) river in a part of the province of Gelderland called the Achterhoek.
