Neubrandenburg (IPA: [nɔʏˈbʁandn̩bʊʁk] , Low German: Niegenbramborg, both lit. New Brandenburg) is a city in the southeast of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. It is located on the shore of a lake called Tollensesee and forms the urban centre of the Mecklenburg Lakeland.
