The Hanseatic town of Attendorn (German pronunciation: [ˈatn̩dɔʁn] ) is a medium-sized district town in North Rhine-Westphalia in the Olpe district in the southern Sauerland region with 25,089 inhabitants. It is known nationwide for the Atta Cave and Lake Bigge.
