Thionville (French pronunciation: [tjɔ̃vil] ; Luxembourgish: Diddenuewen [ˈdidənu̯əvən] ; German: Diedenhofen [ˈdiːdn̩ˌhoːfn̩] ) is a city in the northeastern French department of Moselle. The city is located on the left bank of the river Moselle, opposite its suburb Yutz.
