Rodez (French pronunciation: [ʁɔdɛs] , [ʁɔdɛz] , locally: [ʁoˈðɛs]; Occitan: Rodés, [rruˈðes]) is a small city and commune in the South of France, about 150 km (93 mi) northeast of Toulouse. It is the prefecture of the Aveyron department in the Occitania region (formerly Midi-Pyrénées).
