La Ciotat (French pronunciation: [la sjɔta]; Occitan: La Ciutat, [la sjewˈta], lit. 'The City') is a commune in the French department of Bouches-du-Rhône in the region of Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, southern France. It is the southeasternmost commune of the Aix-Marseille-Provence Metropolis.
