Kopřivnice (Czech pronunciation: [ˈkopr̝̊ɪvɲɪtsɛ]; German: Nesselsdorf) is a town in Nový Jičín District in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 21,000 inhabitants. The town is located in a valley in the Moravian-Silesian Foothills.
