Kolín (Czech pronunciation: [ˈkoliːn] ; German: Kolin, Neu Kolin) is a town in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 33,000 inhabitants. The town is situated in a lowland on the Elbe River. Kolín was founded in the 13th century.
