Jihlava (Czech pronunciation: [ˈjɪɦlava] ; German: Iglau) is a city in the Czech Republic. It has about 54,000 inhabitants. Situated on the Jihlava River on the historical border between Moravia and Bohemia, Jihlava is the capital of the Vysočina Region.
