Boskovice (Czech pronunciation: [ˈboskovɪtsɛ]; German: Boskowitz) is a town in Blansko District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 12,000 inhabitants. Boskovice was probably founded in the 13th century and had one of the largest Jewish communities in Moravia.
