Joliette (French pronunciation: [ʒɔljɛt] ) is a city in southwest Quebec, Canada. It is approximately 50 kilometres (31 mi) northeast of Montreal, on the L'Assomption River. It is also the seat of the Regional County Municipality of Joliette.
