Camrose ( KAM-rohz) is a city in central Alberta, Canada that is surrounded by Camrose County. Located along Highway 13, it had its beginnings as a railroad hub. Camrose is located approximately 90 km (56 mi) from the city of Edmonton, and, approximately 290 km (180 mi) from the city of Calgary.
