Josefstadt (German pronunciation: [ˈjoːzɛfˌʃtat] ; Viennese: Josefstod; "Joseph-Town") is the eighth district of Vienna (German: 8. Bezirk, Josefstadt). It is near the center of Vienna and was established as a district in 1850, but borders changed later.
