Alsergrund (Austrian German pronunciation: [ˈalsɐˌɡrʊnd] ; Viennese: Oisagrund) is the ninth district of Vienna, Austria (German: 9. Bezirk, Alsergrund). It is located just north of the first, central district, Innere Stadt. Alsergrund was incorporated in 1862, with seven suburbs.
