Tiaret (Tamazight: ⵜⵢⴰⵔⵜ, romanized: Tyart, Arabic: تيارت, romanized: Tiyārat) or Tahert (Tamazight: ⵜⴰⵀⴻⵔⵜ, Arabic: تاهرت) is a major city in northwestern Algeria that gives its name to the wider farming region of Tiaret Province.
